QUARTIER TRESTRAOU
Avant de devenir l’un des fleurons du patrimoine
balnéaire de la Côte de Granit Rose, longtemps,
Trestraou ne fut que coteaux environnés de
champs cultivés et plantés de châtaigniers. C’est
à la fin du XIX et surtout à partir de l’arrivée du
e
train à Perros-Guirec que sa physionomie se
transforma. Quelques villas surgirent de terre en
surplomb puis s’échelonnèrent au gré des terras-
sements. En 1918, la construction de la route en
corniche permit à la villégiature de s’épanouir : le
quartier Trestaou était né.

LE BAR À HUÎTRES DE LA FERME ARIN
Non seulement on se régale dans ce bar sur sable,
mais encore on profite du sublime panorama sur
la baie de Paimpol. C’est là, exactement, que les
huîtres de la Ferme Marine Paimpolaise sont éle-
vées, récoltées et donc, dégustées ! Pour ceux qui
n’ont pas la chance de pouvoir venir sur place, on
peut commander des bourriches qui, préparées le
jour même, sont livrées en 24h, partout en France.

LE PETIT BAIN
Au creux de la baie de Plestin-les-Grèves, sur la
plage des Roches d’Argent, la paillote renaît tous
les étés sur ce petit bout de paradis breton qui
devient alors le repaire des gourmands qui s’y
donnent rendez-vous pour une glace, un verre, un
déjeuner ou un dîner. Cette année, tous les mer-
credis soir, ce sera Disco bain : au programme, DJ
sets et concerts sur fond de couchers de soleil.

LE SILLON DE TALBERT
Il paraît que c’est à Merlin l’enchanteur que l’on
doit cette curiosité géologique, étroit chemin de
sable et de galets qui rase l’eau et s’avance sans
frémir de 3 kilomètres dans la mer. On y admire
une nature resplendissante, une flore époustou-
flante. On y suit du regard de nombreux oiseaux
rares qui s’y trouvent bien. On peut y pêcher à
pied, palourdes, praires, crevettes et étrilles

Before becoming part of the distinguished Pink
Granite Coast seaside heritage, for a long time
Trestraou was just hillside surrounded by cultivated
fields and planted with chestnut trees. It was at
the end of the 19 -century and above all when the
th
train started servicing Perros-Guirec that it began
to transform. A few overlooking villas popped out of
the ground then spread in line with the earthworks.
In 1918, the construction of the coastal road allowed
the village to blossom: the Trestaou district came
into being.

You don’t just delight your tastebuds in this bar
on the sand, you enjoy a sublime panorama over
the bay in Paimpol. It’s right there that the oysters
of La Ferme Marine Paimpolaise are cultivated,
harvested and therefore savoured! For those who
aren’t lucky enough to make it that far, you can
order baskets which are prepared fresh daily and
delivered to anywhere in France within 24h.

LE PETIT BAIN
In the crook of the bay of Plestin-les-Grèves, on the
Roches d’Argent beach, the cabana resurfaces each
summer on this little bit of Breton paradise which
becomes the spot for gourmets meeting up for an ice
cream, a drink, a lunch or dinner. This year, it’s going
to be Disco Night every Wednesday: on the agenda,
DJ sets and concerts to a sunset backdrop.

LE SILLON DE TALBERT
Apparently it’s Merlin the Wizard that we have to
thank for this geological curiosity, a narrow path
of sand and pebbles that stretches out into the
sea for about 3 km. Here we can admire nature
at its most resplendent as well as the remarkable
flora. We watch the many rare birds who seem to
flourish there. It’s a great place for clam digging and
rockpool fishing for shrimps and currycomb.
